  • Be sure your body butter is organic. Look for the words "unrefined", "cold-pressed", "extra-virgin", indicating the oils were naturally processed without high heat extractions. High heat kills the natural properties and nutrients of the butter.

  • Remember, body butters are concentrated, so a little goes a long way! Before applying to your skin, warm the butter between your hands before carefully massaging into skin.

  • Look for butter that stored in dark, air-tight, moisture free containers. Most body butters can last a year or more because they contain no synthetic chemical as preservatives. Preservatives are not needed, because body butters aren't made with water.
